Collaborating our farm operations

#collaboration is the key word in this reporting saga. We say saga for the continuation of working with other local establishments is hopefully just starting.

Over the weekend one of our members, RGM Farms held an event. They partnered with another member Via’s Pizza to provide the event attendees with their food via (no pun intended) their delivery service.

In conjunction with the event, RGM also was hosting guest in their short term lodging. The Dallas based guest were here to meet their children and grandchildren from Chicago. Their children arrived earlier to the area and stayed with another BEDG member, Rockwoods Ridge Cabins in their short term rental.

Then to top it all off with some nice family fun they visited another BEDG member, Heartland Farms for an excellent visit to the Bourbon community - all the way from Dallas and Chicago!

We know and love the good life - and others are coming to know it as well!

We will also add that several first time visitors to the farm expressed their pleasure in taking a short hike down the trail(s), following the five Tour of Petals stations, and of course, the goats; Miles and Mickey were a big hit!
